Donate
There is no subscription, no paid tier, and nothing locked behind a paywall. Donations are, and should be, given only if you truly like the app, it has been useful to you, and has really helped you with your Bible reading and studying.
You can donate with a one time donation, or a monthly amount. This is handled through Ko-fi. This again is purely optional; by giving, you are blessing me in a way that I can continue developing new features, contributing to improvements to the app, and its maintenance.
Give on Ko-fiA free app still has bills attached to it. Almost all of them are small, and almost all of them are the kind of thing that quietly stops a project if nobody carries it.
Since donations really make no real difference in how the app functions, these are some important things to go through:
Giving is handled by Ko-fi, not by us. That is deliberate. Your card number goes to them and never reaches a site we control, which is the same reason the app itself has no account system: there is nowhere for your details to be stored or lost.
Ko-fi deducts its own platform and payment-processing fees before the rest arrives, so a gift of five euros is worth a little less than five euros. We would rather say so than let you assume otherwise.
That is a perfectly good answer, and it is the answer most people will give. There are other ways to help that cost nothing:
An important note
I built this app as something I originally wanted to use for myself. But as time has passed and I started adding more and more features, I wanted to share it with someone who could also appreciate it and for it to be useful in diving deeper into God's word. I will continue contributing to the application with or without donations, creating new updates, and keeping it alive so that it can be a blessing to others. So donating is something that should only be done if you feel you should!
Questions
Yes, entirely. Every feature, every translation, every commentary, and every update is available to everyone at no cost, and always will be. There is no paid tier, no trial, and no feature held back.
No. A donation is not a purchase. It does not add features, remove ads, change your settings, or give you anything the app does not already give everyone else.
No. Donations exist so that the app never has to. There is no advertising, no subscription, and no in-app purchase, and giving is not a down payment on one appearing later.
Yes. Ko-fi offers both one-off and monthly support, and monthly support can be cancelled or changed at any time from your Ko-fi account, without contacting us.
They never touch this website. Giving happens entirely on Ko-fi, which handles the payment. Biblelexical does not see, store, or receive your card number, and it has no account system that could hold one.
